About Windy City Service in the Community

The Windy City Chapter of Jack and Jill is at the forefront of community engagement, diligently collaborating with various partners to bring impactful programming and events to the forefront. Our commitment to service is deeply ingrained in the fabric of our organization, extending seamlessly from the vibrant activities of our youth to the dynamic initiatives geared towards our teens. Through strategic partnerships with community organizations, we aim to address the unique needs of our diverse community, fostering a sense of unity and empowerment. By intertwining service into our children’s experiences, we not only impart valuable lessons in compassion and responsibility but also contribute to the betterment of our community at large. The Windy City Chapter remains steadfast in its dedication to making a lasting and positive impact on the lives of those we serve.

WCC & Rainbow Push Coalition

Windy City Chapter and Rainbow Push have created a long-lasting partnership to service our community. Some events include giving Thanksgiving meals to families in-need on Thanksgiving morning, partnering for MLK Day of Service at Rainbow Push and the Rainbow Push Coalition’s Annual MLK Breakfast.

MLK Day of Service

Each year, to commemorate Martin Luther King Day, the Windy City Chapter participates in Jack and Jill of America’s National Day of Service, which involves our families coming together to serve others in the community who are disadvantaged and in need.

March of Dimes

Each year, Windy City Chapter donates and participates in the Annual March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon. Windy City also actively supports March for Babies and Prematurity Awareness Month.
